Many couples choose the pastor of their church or their family's church to officiate their wedding. Some opt to elope at the county court house with the help of a Justice of the Peace. There's certainly nothing wrong with those choices, but did you know there are other options available? If you'd prefer a non-religious or non-traditional wedding, you might consider a Humanist officiant instead. That's right--there's a way to have just the right ceremony that fits you as a couple. A civil ceremony at the court house may seem a little too impersonal, but a church pastor may require membership in the congregation or special classes. A Humanist officiant is a happy medium between the two: a lovely, customized ceremony without religious requirements. That's why I became ordained by the Church of Spiritual Humanism. I offer many different options to help you create the ceremony you've always wanted. Contact me to schedule an interview, and let's plan your dream wedding! I've been marrying couples in the Arkansas and Oklahoma area since 2012, and references are available. --Rev. Jaime
